Gemora Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 October 2026

This privacy policy explains what information the mobile game Gemora: Jewel Block Puzzle ("Gemora", "the app"; Android package com.grantha.gemora) collects, why, and the choices you have. Gemora is developed and published by Dhruv Tyagi (Grantha), H-15, Noida Sector 63, Uttar Pradesh, India ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to this policy.

In short
  • We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number, and you don't need an account to play.
  • Your progress is stored on your phone, and in your Google account only if you use cloud save.
  • The app uses Google services (AdMob for ads, Firebase for analytics, crash reports, notifications and settings, and Google Play for purchases and cloud save). These services collect device identifiers and usage information as described below.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information stored on your phone

Your game progress (levels, stars, scores, coins, boosters, block skins, settings, the nickname and avatar you choose, and any game in progress) is saved on your phone so you can keep playing. Your nickname is only a display name for your in-game profile; please don't use your real name or other personal details in it. This data stays on your phone unless you use cloud save (section 7). Uninstalling the app deletes it.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Gemora is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: banner ads on menu screens, full-screen ads between games, and optional reward videos you choose to watch. To show, limit and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system, app interactions with ads, and approximate location (derived from your IP address).

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent with Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the Privacy button in the app's Settings.
  • Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience (rated PG).
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your phone).
  • If you buy "Remove Ads", banner and between-game ads stop; optional reward videos remain available.
3. Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played so we can improve it, for example how many players finish each level, where players get stuck, which boosters are used, and how long sessions last. It collects an app instance ID, your advertising ID, device model, operating system and app version, language, country and approximate location (from your IP address), and in-app events such as levels started and completed, coins spent, boosters used, reward videos watched, achievements and purchases. It does not collect your name, email address or precise location.

4. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes, freezes or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics sends a report so we can fix the problem. A report contains technical details of the error (such as a stack trace), your device model, operating system version, free memory and storage, the app's state at the time (for example the current level and language), recent in-app events and a Crashlytics installation ID.

5. Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

If you allow notifications, the app registers with Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send occasional messages, such as news about a festival event or a reminder to collect your daily reward. Firebase stores a registration token for your device to deliver them; it is not linked to your name or contact details. You can turn notifications off in the app's Settings (which deletes the token) or in your Android settings.

6. Game settings (Firebase Remote Config)

The app downloads game settings, such as prices in coins and how often ads appear, from Firebase Remote Config. This request includes a Firebase installation ID and basic device information.

7. Cloud save (Google Play Games Services)

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the app saves a copy of your game progress to your Google account so you can restore it on another phone. Your Google account details are handled by Google; we only receive your saved game data.

8. In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

Purchases such as "Remove Ads" and coin packs are processed by Google Play. We receive a purchase confirmation so we can deliver your item and restore it on a new phone. We never see your card or other payment details.

9. Sharing and reviews

When you tap Share, the app opens WhatsApp (or your browser) with a message you can edit; nothing is sent unless you send it yourself. The app may ask you to rate it using Google Play's in-app review, which is handled entirely by Google Play.

10. Third-party services and their privacy policies

The services above are provided by Google, which processes the data on its servers under its own terms:

11. How we use information

We use the information above to run the game and keep your progress, show ads that keep the game free, deliver purchases, fix crashes and bugs, understand which features players enjoy, balance difficulty and prices, and send notifications you've allowed. We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only with the service providers listed above, or where required by law.

12. How long information is kept

Data on your phone is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Data collected by Google's services is kept for limited periods under their retention settings; for example, Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days.

13. Your choices and rights
  • Change your ad consent from Settings → Privacy in the app (where available), and reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
  • Turn notifications off in the app's Settings or in Android settings.
  • Delete your local data by uninstalling the app or clearing its data. Delete cloud save data from your Google Play Games account settings.
  • Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. To make a request, email us at the address below; we will respond within 30 days.
14. Children

Gemora is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

15. Security

Information sent by the app to Google's services is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use reputable services and collect only what the game needs.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's update notes.
